Shabbos Weekend
If you have never spent a Friday night and Saturday observing the traditions and customs of a traditional Jewish Sabbath you are in for quite a treat!!! If you have, you are in for one special Shabbos!
We invite all out of town guests and family to participate in Melissa and David's Shabbos weekend. To kick off the Shabbos you will have the opportunity to participate in one of the most spiritual prayer services you have ever witnessed, a traditional Carlebach Prayer Service. We will continue with a traditional Shabbos dinner. There will be services on Saturday morning for those who wish to attend, a traditional Sabbath lunch with friends, family and lots of singing, afternoon services for those who wish, and Havdalah to close out Shabbos. Please attend whatever you wish. Many people close to David and Melissa will be glad to explain to everyone what is going on and to help you understand the beauty of a tradition that has lasted over 2,000 years.
We really hope you will all be able to come and enjoy this last Shabbos with David and Melissa before they become husband and wife. The schedule of events is below:
